ANTI WRINKLE (BOTOX)

Botox is a drug made from a neurotoxin produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum toxin. It is used medically to treat certain muscular conditions and cosmetically to remove wrinkles by temporarily preventing the contraction of a muscle.

Botox lasts for around 3-4 months depending on the client.

Treatment time is usually around 15 minutes.

During a Botox treatment, Nayema will administer a controlled amount of tiny injections of Botox into the patient using a very small needle. The procedure is relatively pain free.

Botox results can be seen after a few days, with the full effect becoming visible in around 2 weeks.

The best time to consider having Botox® is when you begin to notice that your dynamic lines (these are the wrinkles that only appear through expression) appear regardless of expression and form even when static. Botox® works best at this stage, rather than with deeply etched lines, which are more difficult to smooth the appearance of later on. The longer you wait, the more invasive the treatments for wrinkles become.
Areas that Botox can treat include:
Forehead lines
Frown lines - area between the brows
Crow's feet - around eyes
Bunny lines - on the bridge of the nose
Gummy Smile
Marionette lines
Masseter muscles (Jawline)
Medical conditions - such as migraines, excessive sweating (Sweatox)
Very little - most clients do not suffer from any side effects. However, it is important to go through your consent form and be aware of side effects even if they are highly unlikely. The most common side effects are headache, drooping of the eyelid, skin redness, local muscle weakness and facial pain.
No heavy exercise or strenuous activity for 24 hours after treatment.
Do not go swimming for at least 24 hours after treatment.
No excessive alcohol on the day of the treatment. Do not lie down for 3 hours after treatment.
Avoid ibuprofen following treatment for 24 hours.
Avoid sunbathing and/or tanning beds for 24 hours after treatment.
No sorry.

DERMAL FILLERS

Dermal fillers are non-permanent injectable fillers (Hyaluronic Acid), which are placed in to the face to soften and correct lines and wrinkles. Additionally, they are used to augment, enhance, and contour the face and fill any loss of volume.
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring connective tissue found within our body. HA has an important role in keeping moisture and hydration in the skin. Hydrated skin means that fine lines and the appearance of wrinkles are less obvious. Dermal filler injections supports the facial structures and tissues that may have lost elasticity or volume. It helps to bring water to the surface of the skin thus keeping the skin supple and fresh looking.
Injecting HA dermal fillers is an excellent alternative to the more invasive surgical route. HA dermal fillers can be used to augment, enhance and contour the following areas:
  • Cheeks
  • Temples
  • Tear Trough (under eyes)
  • Nose
  • Chin
  • Jaw
  • Nasolabial folds
  • Marionette lines
HA Dermal fillers last between 6 – 15 months depending on the client. We only use the Juvederm range of Dermal fillers.
Treatment time is between 30 – 45 minutes depending on the treatment area. The Renovo Facelift takes 60 minutes.
The Renovo Facelift is an 8-point technique used to restore volume in eight strategic areas of the face. It can lift and rejuvenate the face, creating a much more youthful, natural looking appearance. This treatment can have a dramatic effect on an individual’s appearance, however we always ensure that the look is subtle and natural.
Tear trough fillers are used to smooth and minimise the appearance of under eye bags and hollows, resulting in a fresh eye appearance.
Non-surgical nose reshaping is an advanced procedure that allows the nose to be reshaped using dermal filler - without the need for invasive surgery.
Results are visible immediately after the procedure, however swelling will subside after a few hours and it will take a few days for the product to settle.

LIP BEAUTIFICATION

Lip Beautification involves the strategic injection of Dermal Fillers into parts of the lips and surrounding areas to enhance, shape, or add volume to the lips and reduce surrounding wrinkles.
Lip Beautification lasts between 3 - 12 months depending on the client.
Treatment time is around 30 minutes.
We aim to ensure that the procedure is as pain-free as possible. All our fillers contain lidocaine which is an anaesthetic. Before we start the procedure, we also give you an anaesthetic numbing cream to ensure a comfortable experience.
We recommend all clients book in for 1ml. 0.5ml is normally only for a top up.
Results are visible immediately after the procedure, however swelling will subside normally within 24 hours and it will take a few days for the product to settle.
